Eutron SmartPico

SmartPico is a driverless device which combines the new Smartkey features for software protection with the practical features of data storage and transport typical of USB mass storage devices. SmartPico simultaneously offers two resources: the new Smartkey and Picodisk.

The Software Houses which intend to create and protect their own application and store it onto a USB device will take advantage of SmartPico product. The application can be installed directly on SmartPico, protected from illegal copy through Smartkey libraries and directly executed from the device memory. The solution will be so completely portable. The user just has to plug the SmartPico into the USB port to work with the application.

The possible memory partitions supported by SmartPico and configurable through the software distributed are:

• mass storage
• CD supporting autorun feature
• mass storage read and write protected
• mass storage write protected
• cryptographic mass storage to store and protect data using a cryptographic flash memory (it ensures data access security through a PIN and AES 256 bit cryptography)

It is possible to combine the different kinds of memory partitions mentioned above up to 8 logical units per device.

SmartPico device is supported on the following O.S.: Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003. SmartPico does not require any driver installation.
